We’re proud to share that Carl Law, our Chief Technology Officer, has been appointed to the Board of Directors at beam, the hospitality and events association.
Carl’s appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to shaping the future of our industry through innovation and collaboration. In his new role, Carl will play a key part in driving beam’s technology agenda, including the rollout of a strategic partnership with Cvent, a leading meetings and events technology provider. This initiative, launching in 2026, will focus initially on streamlining event registration and improving data segmentation, with further developments to follow. This is a fantastic recognition of Carl’s leadership in digital transformation and his deep expertise in systems integration and technology strategy.
Reflecting on his appointment, Carl said: "I'm honoured to join the beam Board at a time when change in our sector is being driven by new technologies and changing customer expectations.
