At Clarity, we believe in making meaningful change through a hands-on approach, which is why each year our people get to spend a day volunteering for a cause that means something to them.
Creating meaningful change for Willow Wood Hospice
Last year we applied for a funding grant for Willow Wood Hospice in Manchester through Enterprise Car Hire Mobility foundation. At the start of July, we were awarded the grant of £2,500, which we presented to Willow Wood alongside a volunteering day. The money will be used to build a Dutch-style barn on the grounds of the hospice.
Willow Wood is an adult hospice which provides specialist palliative care, free of charge, for patients with life limiting illnesses. On the grounds of the hospice is a wonderful outdoor space, where patients and their families enjoy spending their time. The grounds are maintained mostly through volunteers.
In partnership with Enterprise, our teams came together to support a cause that hit close to home for many of those involved and got stuck in with helping to keep the grounds of Willow Wood the sanctuary that it is. From digging to pruning and everything else in between, the teams put their gardening skills to work and spent the day creating a safe, tranquil place for patients to spend time in.

We don’t stop there!
Willow Wood Hospice is just one of the many charities that we work in partnership with. Our teams have also recently been joining East Midlands Rail among their Community Rail Lines project. Whether that’s gardening to increase biodiversity or providing a lick of paint to enhance the look of stations, Team Clarity have been getting involved to help EMR make a real difference to the people they serve across their network.
In May, we also returned to help our fury friends out at Just for Dogs, where we’ve had many previous successful volunteering days. We cleaned out the yards and kennels and took the pooches out for a stroll!
We’re proud to be actively involved with a range of charities, supporting their causes across the UK and strengthening partnerships amongst diverse communities.
