With 2025 coming to an end, we wanted to take a moment to round up the year and have a little fun with some stats about our world class customer service (check out our NPS score!) that we provided, as well as the journeys, meetings and hotel stays that our lovely bookers and travellers have taken this year.
To kick us off, if all our delegates gathered together, they could fill Vatican City twice (yes, TWICE!) over. While our rail passengers alone would need a train with 59,210carriages - stretching an incredible 1,569 kilometres.
Rail journeys continue to impress - covering the distance of16,902,076 marathons and equating to 44,967 complete round trips across the UK’s mainline railway network - talk about endurance! Our travellers would have to walk the Great Wall of China more than 33,624 times to reach the same number of miles they have travelled by rail.
Meetings statistics were no less amazing. The number of meeting delegates could fill Wembley Stadium more than seven times and Old Trafford nine times. They could even populate the entire island of Saint Lucia three and a half times, surpassing the population of 12 percent of the world’s countries.
For those film and TV buffs, our rail passengers logged enough hours to watch the entire Friends boxset 86,000 times or the Marvel universe 139,000 times. That’s also 1,681 complete viewings of all 11 live‑action Star Wars films. That’s a lot of popcorn.
Meanwhile, our consultants supported bookers and travellers for more than 2.6 million minutes, which is over five years of continuous guidance. It takes an average of just 33 seconds for us to answer each call, which is on par with the record-breaking time it takes to eat 10 Carolina Reaper chilies. Though we wouldn’t recommend giving it a go.
We don’t cover space travel (yet), but our air travellers have accumulated enough miles to reach the sun and back four times or hitchhike across the solar system with enough left over to cruise around the moon 50 times. They have flown the equivalent of 15 round trips to Venus and the nights spent in hotels add up so far that if you went into hyper sleep, you’d wake up in the year 8565.
