Growth at Portman creating new jobs in East Kilbride

Award winning travel management company Portman, one of the UK’s top 5 independent travel management companies with roots based in Scotland, is creating new jobs locally due to impressive growth.

East Kilbride is a long established office in the Portman network, and due to the company’s success in driving its online business and Conferences and Events division, new roles are being created and recruited in the local area.

All of Portman’s specialist operations have been amalgamated into the one operational centre based in East Kilbride, creating new opportunities and careers in business travel management. With Portman’s innovation in technology and growth of online volumes, many of these new roles do not require previous industry experience and offer new recruits a great start to an exciting future working in the travel industry.

We also serve the majority of Portman’s SME clients from the office and have our air fares unit based here. This therefore offers multiple opportunities for local recruitment and career development.”

Portman recently won two major awards at the 2016 Business Travel Awards held in London: for Best UK Travel Management Company and Best Travel Technology Product for PortmanOne.
